Groomsmen
Jake Weinrich
Jake is Glenn's little brother, travel companion, and never turns down an opportunity to do something completely unsafe and maybe illegal for the sake of a photo. He could probably play Glenn's stunt double in a movie, but it would have to be really creatively shot, because he's just not as tall as Glenn. He's just not.
Nick Weinrich
Nick is Glenn's big brother. It's true, he's actually bigger, if you can believe that. Don't let his size fool you, he's actually a sweet sweet sensitive dude buried beneath the guise of a WWF wrestler that could repair his own motorcycle on his way to a monster truck rally and stop on the way home to blow something up, then get a tattoo depicting all this across his torso. Glenn's favorite thing about Nick is that he has owned more cars in his life than pairs of shoes. Also true... if you can believe that.
Christian Stanton
Christian is Glenn's friend from Susquehanna. Glenn has gotten into more dicey situations with this guy than anyone else. If you see them standing next to one another, they most certainly have something up their sleeves and are fighting back mischievous laughter. Christian was the type of kid who would light an entire mountainside on fire, then run away and deny everything. You know, hypothetically speaking.
Phil Sander
Phil (soon to be Dr. Phil) is Glenn's buddy from the Susquehanna basketball team. Yes, he can dunk. Phil was Glenn's roommate in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, London, and Spanish Harlem. He'd write a memoir about it, but he's been busy jackaroo-ing in Australia, learning to speak Mandarin, flying planes and becoming a doctor. And dunking.
Paul Magyar
Paul and Glenn used to work together at CBS. Coincidentally, Paul and Glenn both quit their jobs for a year and travelled on parallel paths - Glenn to the Southern Hemisphere and Paul up and down the East Coast of the United States... literally all of it... on foot. They did manage to link up a few times along the way to tackle Machu Picchu and The Appalachian Trail.
Chris Kayes
Kayes and Glenn do really strenuous things in the outdoors like hike the Loyalsock Trail in less than half the time it should take a normal human and climb Mt. Shasta on little to no sleep. When they're not doing really difficult things in the outdoors, they are doing really leisurely things in the outdoors, like playing bocce ball, shooting clay targets and drinking all the beers. They are in a conceptual band together. You are not ready for the output of that collaboration. Neither are they. It's been about 5 years and they have yet to play a single note together.
Ryan Currier
Sorry, Colleen, but Ryan and Glenn are pretty much already married via common law. They lived together in New York City for about six years. Currier will undoubtedly bless your eardrums during the wedding weekend with his cartoon-like shouting of common phrases that will be forever ruined for you. In case you can't get his attention, he also responds to the following names: Golden, Golden Child, Butz, Butzie, Cupid, Tender, Tender 2 4 K, Ry Ry, and "Dave." He has so many nicknames that Glenn hadn't heard his actual name for the first year that we were friends, and thought his name was Dave.
He's just a little guy!
