A Florida Keys classic. The Islander has a retro, motel sort of feel. While it’s not fancy, each room is spacious with it’s own lanai and kitchenette.
The expansive “beach” offers a fishing pier,
water sport rentals (from jet skis to paddle boards), and even the opportunity to charter snorkel trips on site. Just mention the Soriano Weinrich wedding when you call to book.
Glenn will be staying here until Saturday afternoon.
A brand-spanking new hotel (re-opening in March after renovations) with two restaurants, watersports rentals off of the beach and a fitness center.
The Amara Cay offers free shuttle service within a 4 mile radius of the hotel which make sit easy to explore Islamorada and come visit the Islander should you want to hang out there. The shuttle makes for a good option if you've not rented a car and opted for the Keys Shuttle from MIA or FLL.
We also recommend these great places to stay.
Located approximately one mile south of the Islander’s main resort and just opposite the famous Green Turtle Inn restaurant. Colorful two story townhouse-styled two bedroom villas sit overlooking a small boat basin and offer gorgeous views of the setting sun.
A four star resort offering amenities like a golf course to tennis courts, and a kids club.
A great place to stay for relaxation and pampering.
